The agreement signup happened at Elegance Rajagiriya with the participation of Farizul Faraj Digital Head of Wire Group, Nishantha Wickramage President of MRFA, Dinushka Jayatissa, Secretary of MRFA and Prasad Perera, committee member of MRFA.
Mercantile Rugby Sevens is the country’s premier rugby tournament designated for the corporate sector. Since its inception in 1966, Mercantile Rugby Sevens has established a unique fan base and attracted many leading corporates to take part in the event. Held as a 2-day tournament with the participation of around 35 teams from leading corporate sector companies, MRFA has been organizing it annually with the intention of developing and promoting rugby in the corporate sector.
